University of Iceland's research portal (IRIS UI) displays research outputs and research activities of researchers working at the university. IRIS UI was launched in June 2025 after previously being in collaboration with other Icelandic educational and research institutions.

Researchers can sign into PURE system (link above) and add entries, either by importing from Scopus or Orcid or fill in details and save. Please note that all entries will have to be verified by Division of Science and Innovation before they appear on profile. Entries can be imported into the annual evaluation report.

Division of Science and Innovation ([email protected]) can assists researchers with research outputs (peer-reviewed books, book chapters and academic articles), while researchers add conference papers and other material themselves.
